The State of New Mexico gives donations options to those receiving citations.  They have the opportunity to ask the judge to let them make a donation to a non-profit organization that does drug abuse education instead of having a citation on their record. The law enforcement Officer giving the citation or the lawyer representing the defendant may make this suggestion as well. We request defendants give donations to Drug Free San Juan County.

Please make copies of the donation form and use it for making a contribution to Drug Free San Juan County.

Drug Free San Juan County uses these donations to curb the abuse of all drugs through our education and intervention programs which are: Project Graduation, Victim Impact Panel for DWI, Meth Impact Panel and monthly Education meetings about addiction.
